OUR PROJECTS
We put books where they’re needed most.
Through partnerships and programs, BFB creates opportunities to browse, choose, and enjoy books—especially for those whose access is limited or nonexistent.
BFB’s book distribution is sustained through grants, corporate sponsors, and individual donations from our Book Nerd community.
Local roots. A wider reach. More choice, more access, more impact.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH
BOOK PANTRIES
Books, free to take. Always.
Our book pantries—permanent, book location sharing boxes—make it easy for anyone to take a book or leave a book, no strings attached.
Reading for health.
We partner with a clinic on Kauai to provide books in waiting areas—offering comfort, connection, and a moment of escape.
Expanding possibility together.
In partnership with WHOlives.org we help build libraries and bring books to students and communities in Kenya.
Sometimes the books come to you.
BFB BOOK NERD MOBILE PANTRY
Our mobile book pantry brings books directly to communities — meeting people where they are and opening up the power of choice.
Your support puts more books within reach.
Every gift, every share, every act of support helps create more access, more choice, and more impact.
